Plans to ship first Belarus-made 3D printers to customers by late 2026
MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) – The first domestically produced 3D printers are planned to be delivered to customers by the end of 2026, BelTA learned from Denis Rogachev, Director of OOO Center for Additive Technologies RN, on the sidelines of international specialized exhibitions at the Indoor Football Center in Minsk.
Denis Rogachev noted that a project is being implemented to localize the production of 3D printers in Belarus with Rosatom’s support. “It will be implemented using capabilities of our center. Making equipment for 3D printing is the idea,” he said. “We plan to deliver the first completed units to customers by the end of this year. The plans for expanding such production are quite ambitious.”
In his words, the additive manufacturing sector is growing quite rapidly both in Russia and Belarus. “We see huge demand and need from industrial enterprises. There is no doubt that the experience that has already been accumulated in the world and in the Russian Federation is being actively transferred to our soil, and in the near future we expect a multiple increase in demand and the development of resources,” he emphasized.
Apart from that, the Energy Ministry is working quite actively in this direction: tasks are being set for both individual enterprises and the industry as a whole regarding the implementation of additive technologies. “More and more enterprises in the energy sector are seeing the effects that additive manufacturing can provide in terms of reducing costs and accelerating production cycles. Therefore, the number of companies we cooperate with is constantly growing,” Denis Rogachev noted.
