MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – As much as 4.156 million m2 of housing was commissioned in Belarus in 2020, 2.3% up on 2019, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.
Organizations of all types of ownership built about 49,000 apartments.
New housing built for citizens on the housing register totaled 1,683,500m2 or 40.5% of the total new housing supply.
As much as 1,306,400m2 of housing was built for people on the housing register using state support.
As much as 907,100m2 of housing was built for large families.
As much as 1,215,200m3 of housing or 29.2% of the country's new housing supply was built in the countryside.
