Goals of Digital Belarus program listed

MINSK, 31 December (BelTA) – The government has approved the state program Digital Belarus for 2026-2030. Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin has signed the relevant resolution, the government’s press service told BelTA.

The state program was developed to create a domestic ecosystem of digital solutions for the population, the private sector, and the state on the basis of a modern data management system and infrastructure.

It includes subprograms focusing on Data Economy, Digital State, and Digital Sovereignty.

The following tasks will be accomplished: provision of communication services that meet the requirements of new economic formats and quality of life standards; improvement of the quality of state information resources; introduction of applied digital solutions for the state, citizens, and businesses, including the use of artificial intelligence; establishment of new quality of partnership between the state and the society; the formation of an import-independent software ecosystem.

The state program includes 21 projects and steps. As much as Br1.08 billion will be allocated for implementing them.
