FEZ Brest resident companies export products to 57 countries
BREST, 23 March (BelTA) – Resident companies of the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Brest export their products to 57 countries worldwide, Head of the FEZ administration Vadim Kravchuk told BelTA.
In 2025, FEZ resident companies increased their export volumes by 9% compared to 2024. “We not only maintained our volumes but continued to expand the geography of supplies. Today, products are shipped to 57 countries. The main trend of last year was the reorientation of export flows,” Vadim Kravchuk emphasized.
In particular, exports to Russia increased by 16%. FEZ companies also demonstrated significant growth in other CIS countries: exports to Tajikistan rose by 50%, to Uzbekistan by almost 40%, and to Kyrgyzstan by over 20%. FEZ enterprises are also active on more distant markets. In 2025, shipments increased to Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Thailand.
“Our enterprises are purposefully strengthening their presence in Asian markets, actively presenting their products at international exhibitions in China, Vietnam, and other countries. The diversification strategy is working. In most cases, our residents not only compensated for the loss of European markets but also increased their overall export volume by entering new, promising destinations,” the FEZ head noted.
The Free Economic Zone Brest currently has 77 resident companies. Last year, three new companies joined the list, with a combined investment portfolio of $3 million. Their projects are scheduled to be completed through 2029.
