Dairy products lead Belarus’ export growth in 2025

MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) - In 2025, Belarus supplied more than $41 billion worth of goods to foreign markets, Inna Medvedeva, Chairwoman of the National Statistical Committee of Belarus, told the Economy of Belarus magazine.

Last year, Belarusian product exports grew by 2.6% year-on-year.

“Supplies of food products and agricultural raw materials to foreign markets had a significant impact on export performance,” Inna Medvedeva said. “The top three by value are cheeses and cottage cheese, butter, and milk and cream, both condensed and dried. In addition, shipments of chemical industry products, textiles, wood, and leather raw materials increased.”

In 2025, Belarus maintained foreign trade relations with 196 countries worldwide, with trade reaching $89.8 billion, an increase of 4.3% compared to 2024. The CIS countries accounted for 65.3% of trade.
