Belarusian nuclear power plant’s first unit reconnected to power grid

MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – The first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant has been connected to the power grid, representatives of the state enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant told BelTA.

Following the completion of the equipment’s preventive maintenance on 6 May 2026, the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was connected to the grid.

The first unit was disconnected from the grid for preventive maintenance on 27 April. The work was carried out to ensure the reliable operation of the power unit.
