Belarusian Belkommunmash delivers batch of articulated trolleybuses to St Petersburg

MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Belkommunmash has finished delivering a batch of extra-large-capacity model 43303 trolleybuses Vitovt Max II to St Petersburg, the company's press service told BelTA.

The city's electric transport system operating company GUP Gorelektrotrans acquired a batch of 20 Belarusian trolleybuses on leasing terms. Belkommunmash won the tender together with OOO Promagroleasing-Center and OOO Belrus (the official dealership of Belkommunmash in Russia).

The fourth-generation trolleybuses are fitted with a body tilting system and a slide-out ramp. The passenger compartment is fitted with USB sockets, Wi-Fi, CCTV cameras, a media system to inform passengers, and a digital fare control system.

Over the last three years before the latest shipment St Petersburg bought 35 trolleybuses with an autonomous mode option of the model 32100D and 16 trolleybuses of the model 321 from Belkommunmash.
