Belarus, Uzbekistan seek to expand cooperation in civil aviation

MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Uzbekistan intend to step up cooperation in civil aviation, the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry told BelTA.

The ministry hosted a meeting between Belarus’ Transport and Communications Minister Aleksei Lyakhnovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Belarus Rakhmatulla Nazarov. The parties discussed increasing flight frequency to boost tourism potential and strengthen business ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties once again confirmed the friendly nature of bilateral relations and their commitment to constructive cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in transport.
