Belarus, Turkmenistan reach agreement on trucking permits quota for 2027
MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) - Belarus and Turkmenistan have agreed on the quota for international cargo road transportation permits for 2027, BelTA has learned from the press office of the Transport Ministry.
The documents were signed in Minsk at a meeting of the Belarusian-Turkmen Joint Committee ion International Road Transport.
"The parties have agreed on a reciprocal basis to allow drivers of legally authorized international freight vehicles to use printed digital tachograph records in both countries. Vehicles must be equipped with digital control devices that meet the AETR requirements," the press office said.
The participants of the meeting also discussed options for simplifying administrative procedures for Belarusian carriers engaged in international road transportation across Turkmenistan and extending the possible period of stay for drivers on the territory of Turkmenistan.
