Belarus’ passenger traffic up by 9% in H1 2024

 

MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – In H1 2024 Belarus’ passenger traffic totaled 12,079.2 million passenger-kilometers, up by 9% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.

As many as 820.2 million people used passenger transportation services, which was up 5.5% year-on-year.

In January-June 2024 freight traffic reached 36.4 billion tonne-kilometers, up by 3.4% as against January-June 2023.
