Belarus, Myanmar sign cooperation roadmap for 2026-2028
YANGON, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Myanmar have signed a cooperation roadmap for 2026-2028, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov told journalists on the sidelines of the Belarus-Myanmar Business Forum in Yangon, BelTA reports.
When asked by journalists, Maxim Ryzhenkov confirmed that the two nations signed the three-year cooperation roadmap on 27 November.
Highlighting the forum’s importance, the minister noted that this was the third such event for the two countries’ economic circles. He stated: “This isn’t just a networking event where business people gather to learn more about Myanmar or Belarus. People have come here to do business; $9 million in contracts have been signed.”
