Belarus, Indonesia reaffirm commitment to developing economic cooperation

MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of  Belarus to Indonesia Roman Romanovsky met with Deputy Minister for Coordination of International Economic Cooperation Edi Prio Pambudi of Indonesia on 2 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to furthering trade and economic cooperation, taking into account the Free Trade Agreement signed between Indonesia and the Eurasian Economic Union member states in December 2025.

The parties discussed the mechanisms of boosting cooperation between Belarus and Indonesia in the areas with the greatest potential for both countries. Consideration was also given to the schedule of upcoming joint events.
