Belarus, Egypt mull over joint industrial projects

MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Yevgeny Sobolevsky met with Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization Mokhtar Abdel Latif, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Egypt told BelTA.

The parties confirmed their intention to develop joint projects in the manufacturing industry. In particular, they discussed preliminary work in the context of the 4th session of the Belarus-Egypt working group on industrial cooperation and the 8th session of the Belarus-Egypt joint trade commission.

The meeting addressed the establishment in Egypt of assembly facilities for Belarusian automotive and tractor equipment based on enterprises of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. In addition, cooperation in water purification, unmanned aerial systems, and electric transport was considered.
