Ambassadors of Belarus, Oman discuss economic cooperation

MOSCOW, 19 March (BelTA) – Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi has met with Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Russia and Non-Resident Ambassador to Belarus Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

“The heads of the diplomatic missions reviewed the bilateral agenda, discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts between Minsk and Muscat, and took stock of bilateral cooperation in trade and economy,” the press service said.

Dmitry Krutoi believes that Belarus and Oman have everything in place to ramp up trade and economic cooperation, including through expanding the assortment of trade. “The ambassador of Oman suggested holding joint events (for example, exhibitions and fairs) both in Belarus and Oman. He recalled that he had raised this topic at the negotiations at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry during his visit to Minsk in February this year,” the diplomatic mission added.
