8,200 new apartments delivered in Belarus in Q1 2024

 

MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – In January-March 2024, companies of all forms of ownership built 8,200 apartments. A total of 787,500 square meters of the total area of housing were commissioned, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.

Belarus commissioned some 260,200 square meters of housing for people registered as in need of improving their living conditions, which was 33% of the total housing commissioned.

Some 174,500 square meters of such housing were subsidized by the government.

Some 89,700 square meters of housing were delivered for large families.

As for rural communities, 288,100 square meters of housing were delivered there, or 36.6% of new homes commissioned in the country.
