NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) - Belarusian athletes continue to prepare for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. The upcoming Olympics is the main goal for Belarusian athletes who want to perform in the event without any restrictions on the part of the IOC, President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko said at the opening ceremony of the 3rd National Forum of Athletes in Minsk on 26 April, BelTA has learned.
Viktor Lukashenko stressed that Belarus has always adhered to the principles of Olympism, Belarusian athletes have never violated the Olympic rules and have always treated their counterparts from other countries with respect. Belarus will continue to comply with the IOC standards, including the political neutrality of sport principle, the president of the NOC added.
