NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, hosted the international juniors boxing tournament to mark the 100th birthday of Heydar Aliyev, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Boxing Federation.
The event featured over 100 athletes from 11 countries: Belarus, Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel and Moldova.
Belarusian fielded four boxers, two of whom claimed medals. Andrei Rumyantsev secured a champion title in the under 80kg weight category. Stanislav Zhilyanin collected bronze in the over 80kg. The tournament in Baku featured 13 medal events.
