Two matches of Belarusian Football Championship postponed

MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – Two matches of the Belarusian Premier League and First League have been postponed. The decision was taken by the bureau of the Executive Committee of the Belarusian Football Federation on 11 May, BelTA has learned.

The matches have been postponed due to possible COVID-19 infection of players of FC Minsk and FC Arsenal Dzerzhinsk. The match FC Minsk v FC Neman Grodno of the ninth tour of the Belarusian Premier League, which was due to take place at Traktor Stadium in Minsk, will not take place on 15 May.

The match between FC Arsenal Dzerzhinsk and FC Lokomotiv Gomel of the fifth tour of the Belarusian First League will not take place on 16 May.

According to the Belarusian Football Federation, all necessary measures are taken to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus at the matches of the Belarusian Football Championship.
