Two Belarusian referees to officiate 2020 IIHF World Championship matches

MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – Two Belarusian referees will be among the judges to officiate the matches of the 2020 IIHF World Championship, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.

Maksim Sidorenko will work at the world championship in Switzerland as the chief referee and his colleague Dmitry Golyak as a linesman.

The 2020 IIHF World Championship will take place in Lausanne and Zurich on 8-24 March. Belarus has been drawn in Group A and will play Canada, Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Denmark and the UK.
