MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Belarusian referee Maksim Sidorenko and linesman Dmitry Golyak will umpire at the 2019 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has released a list of referees who will umpire matches of the world championships. The list includes Belarusian specialists. For Maksim Sidorenko the forthcoming world event is not the first in his career.
The 83rd IIHF World Championship will be held in Bratislava and Kosice, Slovakia on 10-26 May. Belarus will play in the IIHF World Championship Division I in Astana at the end of April.
