MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Belarus' Raman Tsishkou finished second in omnium at the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in New Zealand's Cambridge, BelTA has learned.
He scored 112 points in omnium, one of the most challenging disciplines, after four races. Claudio Imhof from Switzerland won the title by just one point. Bronze went to Liam Bertazzo of Italy (108 points).
Hong Kong will host the last UCI Track Cycling World Cup on 25-27 January. The main events of the new track cycling season include UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Pruszkow, Poland on 27 February-3 March and the European Games in Minsk on 21-30 June.
