NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won three medals (1 gold and 2 bronze) at the 9th edition of the Nations Women's Cup in Sombor, Serbia, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian Boxing Federation.
Belarusian Yekaterina Kovaleva defeated Russian Kristina Tkacheva in the final 3-2 to win the gold in +81kg. Bronze medals were collected by Belarusian Yulia Apanasovich (51kg) and Viktoryya Kebikava (75kg).
The Nations Women's Cup in Serbia was one of the stages to prepare for the European Olympic qualification event due in London on 13-23 March.
