MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian acrobatic gymnastics national team won three medals at the FIG World Cup 2020 Maia in Portugal, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association.
Maksim Markevich and Aleh Mikhalevich claimed silver in the men's pair with the total of 28,180 points. Bronze went to Artiom Yashchanka and Aliaksei Zayats of Belarus (28,030). The UK won the event with the total of 29,700 points.
Silver was clinched by Hanna Kasian and Konstantin Evstafeev in the mixed pair event with the total of 28,870 points. Winners of the 2019 European Games Volha Melnik and Artur Beliakou scored 28,610 points to place 4th.
The Belarusian athletes will next compete at the FIG World Cup Sofia in April.
