Three medals for Belarus at FIG Junior World Championships in Moscow

MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – Belarus claimed three medals at the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships in Moscow, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Gymnastics Association.

In the All-Around event, the Belarusian team of Polina Aleksandrova, Margarita Yatsevskaya, Polina Slanchevskaya, Polina Kovaleva, Viktoria Podkidysh and Evgeniya Kel placed third.

Belarus also clinched bronze with Five Hoops scoring a total of 24,650 points. Silver went to Italy (25,100). Gold was collected by Russia (26,250).

The Belarusian gymnasts scored 19,550 to place second with Five Ribbons. Gold went to Russia (21,450). Bronze was collected by Israel (19,000).

Arina Krasnorutskaya of Belarus finished fourth in the Ball routine (18,475). Lala Kramarenko of Russia scored 21,525 points to claim gold. Arzu Jalilova of Azerbaijan placed second with the total of 19,200 points. Bronze went to Israel's Noga Block (18,950).

Taking part in the competitions were 300 athletes from 60 countries.
