Synchronized bronze for Belarus at FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup Aerials in Raubichi

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) — Belarus' Ihar Drabiankou and Makar Mitrafanau scored a total of 72.12 points to secure bronze in the synchronized event at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup Aerials which took place in Raubichi on 22-23 February, BelTA has learned.

The event was won by Switzerland's Noe Roth and Pirmin Werner (86.50 points). Second were their compatriots Nicolas Gygax and Andrin Schaedler (76.56 points).

Pavel Dik and Andrei Kuzmin placed fourth. Maksim Gustik and Dzmitry Mazurkevich were sixth. Yuri Bely and Ukraine's Mykola Puzderko finished 11th.

Earlier, Justin Schoenefeld of the United States won gold in the Men's Aerials. Maksim Gustik of Belarus finished 15th, Andrei Kuzmin – 20th, Pavel Dik – 21st, Dzmitry Mazurkevich – 22nd, Yuri Bely – 26th, and Ihar Drabiankou – 21st.

Competing for medals in Raubichi were athletes from Australia, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Russia, the United States, Ukraine and Switzerland.
