MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) – HC SKA Minsk got off to a good start at the Parimatch Cup in Moscow, BelTA has learned.
On 14 August Belarus' vice champions edged Donskie Kazaky from Taganrog 23-22 in the first semifinal. Mikalai Aliokhin and Yauhen Nikanovich led the team with five goals each.
In the final match on 15 August HC SKA Minsk will face HC CSKA Moscow that defeated HC Permskie Medvedi 31-26 in the second semifinal.
Tomorrow's final will be a so-called rehearsal ahead of the EHF European League qualification matches between SKA and CSKA. The first match is due to take place in Minsk on 29 August, the return one – in Moscow on 5 September.
