Silver and bronze for Belarus' wrestlers at 2019 Military World Games

MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) – Belarusian freestyle wrestler Aliaksandr Hushtyn secured a 97kg silver at the 7th CISM World Games 2019 which are underway in Wuhan, China on 18-27 October, BelTA has learned.

Mohammad Hossein Mohammadian of Iran took gold, while the third place was shared by Russia's Vladislav Baitsaev and Fatih Yasarli of Turkey.

Kseniya Stankevich of Belarus clinched bronze going to repechage in the women's 50kg event. Second bronze went to Kim Su Jong of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Whitney Conder of the United States won silver. Li Yuyan of China took the champion title.

More than 9,300 military athletes from 109 countries are competing in 27 sports.
