Shimanovich renews Belarus' record in 100m breaststroke in France

MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Ilya Shimanovich has renewed Belarus' record in the 100m breaststroke at FFN Golden Tour – Camille Muggat in Marseilles, France, BelTA has learned.

At the preliminary stage the Belarusian clocked 58.79 seconds to set a new record for Belarus. In the final he improved to 58.29 seconds.

Ilya Shimanovich also won in the 50m breaststroke (27.00 seconds) and touched in second in the 200m breaststroke (2:11.38).

Alina Zmushko of Belarus was victorious at the 200m breaststroke (2:29.7).
