MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – Belarus' Aliaksandra Sasnovich lost in the Open de Limoges final, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian world number 67 lost 1-6, 3-6 in the decider to Russia's world number 42 Ekaterina Alexandrova.
On her way to the final the Belarusian cruised past world number 171 Isabella Shinikova of Bulgaria 6-1, 6-2, defeated Russia's world number 61 Anna Blinkova 3-6, 6-1, 7-5, saw off Switzerland's world number 73 Jil Belen Teichmann 6-3, 7-5, and beat Belgium's world number 118 Greet Minnen 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.
