Sabalenka up to 11th in WTA after Doha win

MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka rose up to the 11th spot in the latest WTA rankings after her triumph at the 2020 Qatar Total Open in Doha, BelTA has learned.

A week ago Aryna Sabalenka was ranked 13th in the WTA. After her win in Doha she moved up two spots with the total of 3,615 points. Victoria Azarenka goes 56th with 991 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich is 116th with 561 points. Olga Govortsova sits 142nd with 433 points.

Two Belarusian players will play at the Abierto GNP Seguros in Monterrey this week. Victoria Azarenka will open against Slovenia's world number 71 Tamara Zidansek. Olga Govortsoba will play world number 131 Caroline Dolehide of the United States.
