MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – Minchanka beat Sparta Nizhny Novgorod 3-0 in a match of the Russian Women's Volleyball Super League, BelTA has learned.
Nadezhda Smirnova and Margarita Stepanenko led the Belarusian team with 14 points each.
Nadezhda Stolyar added eight points and Tatyana Markevich – seven. Svetlana Gatina scored 19 points on the losing side.
This is the third victory for Minchanka in the Russian Super League. Stanislav Salikov's team is now 11th in the standings, having surpassed Dinamo Metar, Tulitsa and Yenisei.
