NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – President of the Lithuanian Badminton Federation Vilmantas Liorancas believes the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 are properly organized. He shared his opinion with a BelTA reporter.
Vilmantas Liorancas said: “I think everything has been solidly, excellently organized. There are always many volunteers nearby, ready to help out. It is very important to arrange such large-scale competitions in the country. Thanks to them you show Belarus to the entire world. I've already attended 3x3 basketball competitions. I would like to note that basketball is a national kind of sport for us.”
According to the guest, he likes the Belarusian capital city. “Minsk is a very beautiful city. There are things worth looking at here,” he added.
The 2nd European Games are taking place in Minsk through 30 June. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in 15 sports.
