The congress will be running through 17 October. This scientific forum has been held since 1993. The host of the next event is selected every year. The Belarusian State University of Physical Culture won the right to host the 2020 edition of the congress.

Belarus Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk stressed the importance of such events as he addressed the participants of the congress. “We are always open to a dialogue and are ready to become a platform for promoting sports. The influence of the student movement on the processes in sport is becoming more and more considerable,” Russian Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin said.
