NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – MAPID Minsk won the title of the Zigmund Grigolunovic Memory Cup in Daugavpils, Latvia, BelTA has learned.
Apart from Belarus, competing in the tournament were Pskov Russia, Jekabpils Lusi and Daugavpils University (both Latvia), UKS Centrum (Augustow, Poland).
Belarus defeated Jekabpils Lusi 3-1 (17-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-22) in the opener. Then, Belarus blanked Pskov Russia 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-14). In the final Belarus whitewashed UKS Centrum Augustow 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 26-24) to won the tournament commemorating one of the best coaches in the history of the Latvian volleyball.
