MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to member of the Belarusian national athletics team Maksim Nedasekau on his success at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“This victory with the world's best result of the season has convincingly showed that the Belarusians have someone to be proud of. You have once again demonstrated not only your excellent form and fighting spirit but also a high degree of responsibility to the team and the fans, true patriotism and respect for your opponents,” the message of congratulations reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the athlete and his coaches strong health and every success in conquering the Olympic heights.
