MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk lost to Red Star Kunlun 1-2 on the road as part of the 2019-2020 KHL regular season to extend their losing streak to 11 games on 25 December, BelTA has learned.
Captain Brandon Yip opened the scoring on the power play in the sixth minute before Devante Smith-Pelly potted a second late in the middle frame.
In the third, Dinamo rallied and, despite outshooting Red Star 19-4, only Andrei Kostitsyn could beat Jeremy Smith with a solo effort early in the session. Late in the third Dinamo replaced the goalie with an extra player, but the score remained unchanged.
