MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk snapped a three-game losing streak to move into sixth place in the Western Conference thanks to a 2-1 shootout win against Severtsal Cherepovets in the KHL regular-season match on 17 January, BelTA has learned.
Late in the opening frame, Rob Klinkhammer put the Bisons on the scoreboard. Late in the closing stanza Severstal answered through Adam Liska who leveled off six minutes left to play.
There was no overtime winner, but in the shoot-out Alexander Kogalev and Pavel Varfolomeyev scored to give the verdict to Minsk.
HC Dinamo Minsk will be back in action on 19 January to face HC Sochi.
