NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk lost 5-6 in overtime to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the KHL regular season match on 30 January, BelTA has learned.
Anatoly Golyshev scored in the first minute of overtime to give Avtomobilist a hard-fought win over Minsk. Anatoly Golyshev was the one to open the scoring in the first period.
In the middle stanza, Dinamo found the net twice through the efforts of Evgeny Kovyrshin and Aleksandr Pavlovich. Avto responded with goals from Andrei Obidin and Geoff Platt to regain the lead.
Andrei Kostitsyn leveled off the game early in the final period. Mikhail Mamkin made it 4-3 for the host in the 46th minute. The Bisons forward Mikhail Stefanovich tied the game again, just before Rafael Batyrshin secured a narrow advantage for Avtomobilist. Mikhail Stefanovich scored his second on the night to take the game into overtime.
The Bisons will be back in action on 1 February as they play Sibir.
