Kazusenok: The state cares for the nation's health

MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – The state takes care of the nation's health, Belarusian sambo wrestler, many-time champion and medalist of world and continental competitions Andrei Kazusenok told BelTA.

“Belarus has always encouraged and popularized a healthy lifestyle. This is the right thing to do. I always support such a policy and take part in various events to share the best practices and encourage others to do sports. I would like more people to do sports. I would like athletes to share their experience. The number of mass sport events for children and adults increase every year. The number of people doing sports also increases on a regular basis. All this shows that the state takes care of the nation's health,” Andrei Kazusenok said.

The prominent athlete is currently training and getting ready to continue the season. Andrei Kazusenok demonstrates a lot of energy ahead of the European championship.

Andrei Kazusenok also plans to take part in grappling competitions. “I am friends with 2008 Olympic champion, Japanese judoka Satoshi Ishii who competes in grappling. He invites me to take part in various competitions. I think that I will have an opportunity to compete for medals in this sport in the near future. For me it is a great chance to show my best in a new kind of wrestling and gain new experience,” the athlete said.
