MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 107 Ilya Ivashka reached the round of Last 16 at the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Munich, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian took a solid win, 6-1, 6-2, over world number 75 Emil Ruusuvuori of Finland in an hour and seven minutes. Ilya Ivashka made the main draw through the qualifying where he beat Poland's Kamil Majchrzak and Lithuania's Ricardas Berankis.
Belarus' world number 76 Egor Gerasimov will face Guido Pella of Argentina.
The tournament in Munich will be over on 2 May.
