Ignatik into 2019 Zhangjiagang Challenger last 16

MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 249 Uladzimir Ignatik went off to a good start at the 2019 Zhangjiagang International Challenger in China, BelTA has learned.

In the round of Last 32 the Belarusian secured a confident win over World No.286 Goncalo Oliveira of Portugal 6-3, 6-2. Uladzimir Ignatik will next face Australia's world number 300 Andrew Harris who saw off Canada's world number 109 Brayden Schnur 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 7-6 (8-6).

Belarusian tennis players will launch their campaigns at the Miami Open. Ilya Ivashka (World No.110) will open against Italy's world number 90 Thomas Fabbiano. Victoria Azarenka, ranked 46 in the world, will take on Slovakia's world number 35 Dominika Cibulkova.
