MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk will play their first home game of 2026 in the regular season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) on 12 January, BelTA has learned.
HC Admiral Vladivostok will be the first visitor to Minsk Arena in 2026. The Minsk Bisons had a poor start to January, losing all three games on the road to HC Traktor Chelyabinsk, HC CSKA Moscow, and HC Severstal Cherepovets. The Vladivostok side began the New Year with a win over Amur Khabarovsk in a derby, but then also lost three straight away games. HC Admiral Vladivostok closes the Eastern Conference tournament table, having earned 34 points. HC Dinamo Minsk, with 57 points, is in third position in the Western Conference.
“It was a rough road trip. We played some good hockey, but just didn’t get the results we wanted. We have had a few days to reset and refocus. Now we are ready to get back on home ice and start a new winning run in front of our crowd. I’m really looking forward to getting that boost from our fans at Minsk Arena. I’ve got a good feeling about this,” the capital club’s defenseman Brady Lyle said.
The last time HC Dinamo Minsk and HC Admiral Vladivostok met was on 30 November in Vladivostok, where the Minsk Bisons came on top with a 4-1 score thanks to a double by Yegor Borikov. The second and final match between the teams in the current regular season starts at 7.30 p.m., with Minsk forward Vadim Shipachyov making another attempt to reach the 1,000-career-point milestone in the KHL.
