MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk beat the team of the Belarusian Extraleague 2-1 in the second match on 28 February, BelTA has learned.
The first match was played at Minsk Arena on 26 February. The Bisons lost it 4-2.
Andrei Sidorenko's men opened the scoring through Maksim Parfeyevets on the second minute into the game. The Extraleague team under the tutelage of Mikhail Zakharov managed to level off before the end of the second period. HC Yunost Minsk forward Mikhail Stefanovich redirected Sergei Bogoleisha's feed to tie up the game. Evgeny Lisovets scored the winner.
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko attended both the games.
The decider in the ongoing series is scheduled for 2 March.
The series of matches between Dinamo Minsk and the Belarusian Extraleague team is held as part of the preparations for the 2019 IIHF World Championship Division I in Astana.
