HC Dinamo Minsk apply for KHL's next season

MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) – Clubs of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), including HC Dinamo Minsk, have applied for the participation in the next season. The final lineup of participants will be approved at the KHL Board of Directors, BelTA learned from the press service of the Kontinental Hockey League.

“23 clubs have already submitted financial documents in accordance with the regulations. Under current conditions, everyone is reviewing and revising their plans and budgets. These are general working issues concerning not only sports. The league has studied the financial documents sent by the clubs and will present its conclusion to the KHL Board of Directors where the final list of participants will be approved,” said KHL President Alexei Morozov.

Twenty-four teams competed in the previous season. HC Admiral Vladivostok will miss the next season in response to the coronavirus situation.

The KHL new season is due to kick off on 2 September.
