Four medals for Belarus at European Judo Open in Poland

MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won two gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the European Judo Open which took place in Warsaw, Poland on 29 February-1 March, BelTA has learned.

On the last day of the competitions Aliaksandr Sidoryk secured a champion title in the 90kg category defeating Azerbaijan's Rufat Ismayilov in the final. Bronze medals went to Belarus' Viktar Klyavusau and Canada's Zachary Burt.

Earlier, belarus' Ulyana Minenkova took gold in the 57kg category. Kseniya Danilovich won silver in the 52kg event.

Competing in the competitions were about 400 athletes from 44 countries.
