MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – Belarusian figure skater Evgeny Puzanov won bronze at the 2019 European Youth Winter Olympic Festival, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian National Olympic Committee.
The Belarusian athlete ranked fourth after the men's short program. His great performance in the free skate earned him second place and he made it to the top three in the overall standings. He got 175.07 points from the judges. Russia's Ilya Yablokov received 211.62 points to clinch gold. Mihhail Selevko of Estonia placed second with 180.29 points.
Evgeny Puzanov won the first medal for Belarus at the 2019 European Youth Winter Olympic Festival in Sarajevo.
