MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – FC Dinamo Brest have progressed into the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, BelTA has learned.
In the opening qualifying round the Belarusian champion secured a solid win over FC Astana from NurSultan 6-3.
Mikhail Gordeichuk, Abdoulaye Diallo, Kiryl Pyachenin, and Pavel Sedko scored for the winning side.
The Brest team will next play either FC Connah's Quay Nomads or FK Sarajevo.
As for other qualification matches that have already taken place, Qarabag Azerbaijan blanked Sileks North Macedonia 4-0, Legia Warszawa Poland edged Linfield Northern Ireland 1-0, Celtic Scotland routed KR Reykjavik Iceland 6-0, Crvena zvezda Serbia defeated Europa Gibraltar 5-0.
