MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) – FC Dinamo Brest edged FC Vitebsk 1-0 to claim their maiden Belarus' champion title, cutting short the 13-year winning streak of FC BATE, BelTA has learned.






Scoring a total of 72 points FC Dinamo Brest became out of reach for the 15-time Belarusian champion BATE Borisov.
BATE Borisov blanked FC Dinamo Minsk 3-0 to take silver. Bronze went to FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk that lost 0-1 to FC Dinamo Minsk.
Despite a 3-2 win over FC Gorodeya, FC Gomel relegated.
The leader standings after 29 rounds: Dinamo Brest – 72 points, BATE – 67, Shakhtyor – 62, Dinamo Minsk – 50, Isloch – 46, and Torpedo BelAZ – 45.
