MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – FC BATE Borisov will take on PFC CSKA Sofia in the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round. The draw ceremony took place in Nyon, Switzerland, BelTA has learned.
It will be the first match for the Belarusian vice champions in the new season. Their rivals defeated Sirens F.C. 2-1 in the first qualifying round. The match for Europa League third qualifying round will be played in Sofia on 17 September.
Earlier, FC Dynamo Brest learned their opponents in the Champions League third qualifying round. The Brest team will play FC Maccabi in Tel Aviv on 15 or 16 September.
