FC BATE Borisov earns $1.55m on transfers in 2019

MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – FC BATE Borisov earned some $1.55 million on players' transfers in 2019, BelTA learned from the website of the 15-time champion of Belarus, BelTA has learned.

The Borisov club spend about $680,000 to buy players last year. In the previous season FC BATE Borisov did not become the country's champion for the first time over the past 13 years. They placed second after FC Dinamo Brest who won their maiden champion title.

FC Dinamo Brest kicked off the new season with two losses in a row: 1-3 to Energetik BGU and 1-2 to Slavia Mozyr. On 4 April, BATE will face FC Rukh Brest, the newcomer in the elite division.
